Hello Everyone!! Well we went on another fantastic rugby tournament this weekend. Phil and I were so concerned about not forgetting our ipod that we forgot our camera:( So, no pics right now, I'm hoping to get some from some people who remembered their camera.

So, we went to Kobe again, but we stayed Friday night at a ryokan in Osaka. That was a lot of fun, but we stayed up WAY too late!! I'm talking 4 am! Miren and I were really wondering when Japanese people sleep, because they seem to run on nothing.

Saturday morning we walked around Osaka, and visited the Osaka Castle (I know, I know I'm sorry about the camera!). We also saw some ume blossoms, the first sign of Spring:) Now, normally Misa comes on these trips and is our translator, but this time she couldn't come, so we were forced to really try out our horrible Japanese and our Japanese friends were forced to finally speak their amazing English. We had a new Japanese guy join our group named Ketta (not sure), but his name sounds close to ketai (cell phone), so that's what we called him. When we first met him, we asked him if he spoke English and he said no. Well by the end of the trip we gave him a hard time for saying that because he was really good and even translated for 23 in the car.

Because we were going to the same tournament spot in Kobe, I had requested that we go back to the Spaghetti Factory and was so happy to find out we had reservations! I almost feel a little guilty that I haven't had to totally give the place up since being here, but it totally hit the spot. So, we didn't stay up as late Saturday and I think we all got around six hours of sleep.

Now, the best part of our weekend was the tournament on Sunday. There were two divisions: the "exciting" division and the "enjoying" division. Well, we were in the enjoying one, but we won! I also scored for the first time in a tournament! Of course Phil scored another 3 or 4:) It was pretty funny because there were only three girls and you have to have three girls on the field at all times. So 23 kept saying "defense, fight...offense, relax" so that was the plan for the girls and I guess it worked out fine. We just let the guys do their thing on offense.

So that's about it for our weekend. We miss everyone. But, for at least a while, we don't have to miss the Old Spaghetti Factory... I really think that's the important thing;)
