Today was my last day at Funakoshi JHS and some students wrote me letters to say good-bye. I was so excited to see myself in Japanese animation with a Japanese-style hair cut and blue eyes...I love it!!:) Well "Christmas is just around the corner" as the Japanese teachers like to tell me. Phil's family sent us some Christmas presents so we have gifts now under our little Christmas tree. We're missing home, but we're still enjoying the season. It's been snowing a lot here lately and obviously has been pretty cold. We're looking forward to our trip to Kyoto and have the train tickets now and everything. Phil's been helping a Japanese heart surgeon prepare for an English presentation and he's presenting this weekend so hopefully that goes well. Not too much else is new here. Miss you all!

By the way, if you're curious, here's what the letter says: Dear Callie Hi, Callie. I'm Yuki. I can't belive that we have to say goodbye so soon. I have to leave you. Thank you very much for the nice lesson. I like paint. I wrote a illustration to Callie. Callie did it to please you!! once again Thank you very much Goodby ... Present For You!
