Not too much has been going on...I had a four day weekend which was really nice!! This picture was taken Friday at a cafe that I wanted to take Phil to because they have really good coffee. Most coffee here, even starbucks (gasp) is flavored with I don't know what mocha maybe? Anyway this place does good coffee. We went to the Peace Memorial Museum because we wanted to avoid the crowd from last weekend, but unfortunately it was packed, so we are thinking we'll have to go back again sometime. We are buying bikes from the JET couple upstairs from us, so we tried them out Saturday and it's a really nice ride from our apartment to downtown. I thought riding a bike downtown would be really scary, but it's not that bad (knock on wood). And it's way cheaper than the bus...it is unbelievable how much money we've spent on transportation since we've been here, so hopefully the bikes will cut down on that a little. I got to work with kids at an English day-camp type thing, and it was really fun. These kids were especially interested in English so I don't think all students are going to be that motivated but it was just fun to see the kids and see what their like...their pretty much just kids. We went to church yesterday. It meets twice a month and yesterday we were the only ones there besides the speaker. He said that a lot of people are traveling right now and that there will be a lot more next week, but it was nice just to get to know one of the members anyway and it was a really good sermon. Well we're just going to enjoy the last day of this weekend. I go to my base school on Friday for the first time. Phil has found a couple language institutes that he hopes he can work at, so hopefully he'll find something this week. Talk to you soon!
