Hey everyone! Well we promise we are still alive and that we will update with pictures really soon!! Today is my birthday and we're taking it easy and hanging out. Tomorrow we will be heading to Sandankyo (for sure this time!). Last time we were going to go we got to the bus center too late, so we'll be up bright and early tomorrow. Last weekend we had a joint birthday celebration with the other JETs who also had October birthdays so I've gotten to do a lot of celebrating. Phil bought me a book to learn Kanji by the same guy who made the book to help us learn Hiragana and Katakana that was so good (I think Phil learned all of Katakana in one sitting). Sorry we haven't updated in a while and you will soon see Sandankyo pictures and hopefully sunny ones! We miss you all!! ~Callie and Phil
