Well unfortunately something is not working with the blog right now... so I'll try and post all of the pictures later. We had a great time. We stayed in a Japanese style hotel and went to dinner at a restaurant where we ate a lot of new and interesting foods. After we ate, we sat around and told jokes. Misa was our translator the entire two days...her Enlglish is great because she's spent time in Australia. So she translated all of our jokes and she said it isn't their custom to have "joke competitions" so I think it was new for them:) The tournament went really well although we stayed up way too late the night before. We managed to get second place in the second tier bracket which I think is about 8th or 7th place out of 18 teams. We even got a plaque and certificate!! After the tournament the Japanese people all insisted that we go to a public bath house which I guess is a big Japanese tradition and I'm glad we had Misa there to show us the ropes. It was actually really nice and relaxing with about 5 different baths which were basically huge hot tubs and they also had a sauna. We were so hot by the end but very refreshed. I guess it would be kind of like going to a spa but no one wears clothes (yes men and women have seperate bath houses). So I feel like we had a lot of great Japanese experiences in such a short amount of time. Hopefully I'll be able to put some pictures up soon. We miss all of you!!
